Greg Deller was born into a musical family. However, it wasn't until he was in his early teens that he began to learn to play an instrument. His first instrument was Drums and Percussion which he studied up to Grade 8. At this time he began to develop a keen interest in the piano and the theory of music. He went on to study both to diploma level. Having completed an Associate diploma with Trinity College London, he attended university where his interest in theory and analysis took over his musical explorations.

Upon graduation, Greg went on to teach and lecture in various locations, it was during this time he met Bone Broke Kings drummer, Dave Green.

Greg is also a musical director, arranger, and conductor.

Greg's major musical influences include David Bowie, Mike Garson, Supertramp, Suede, Colin Blunstone, The Zombies, Billy Joel, Ike and Tina Turner, Elton John, and The Doors.

Aside from music, Greg has studied English, achieving an M.A and his other passions include cooking, purchasing outrageous shoes, and his family.

Greg plays a Fender Rhodes 73 stage piano, a Hammond Organ, a Yamaha Modx synthesizer, and piano.

His favourite instrument at home is a beautiful W. Hoffmann upright piano.
